We’ve been out of touch for a while. Sorry. We haven’t stopped working on this colossus, though. Quite the opposite. The truth is, we’ve been working like never before. We’ve lost track of how many coffee infused all nighters we’ve pulled over the last couple of months. When we aren’t computer modelling, we’re pouring over archaeological records, checking and re-checking the tiniest details. We’ve been working on something big. Our biggest project yet. Our first app.
Ancient Jerusalem in VR will be available on the App Store and Google Play at Christmas, and it’ll be completely free. At no cost, users with any VR headset and any smartphone will be able to experience this ancient wonder as it would have looked in its prime, either from the comfort of their own home, or on site.
Lithodomos VR prides itself on the archaeological accuracy of its reconstructions, and this app is no exception. Every detail has been thoroughly researched, backed up by sound evidence, and approved by a professional archaeologist. For this reason, the app can be considered not only for entertainment purposes but also as a useful educational tool.
We’re excited to show you our new baby. It’s our first step towards bringing the wonders of the ancient world to the masses. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do.
